Michael and I have been recently talking about the same disturbing, and seemingly immediate, change you write about: How the never-ending chaos and noise of our house--and the kids all clamoring and clustering in whatever room we were in--just stopped now that they are teenagers and some of them are driving. And now the house is too quiet and the rooms too empty!
